Where Business Meets Opportunity

Dear Members and Prospective Members:

 

The November 1, 2004 meeting of the Chamber was busy and a lot of things were accomplished that night. So you will know what took place, I have listed below business accomplished and pending business to be completed at our next meeting on November 15. 2004. 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall.

 

The Board of Directors for the coming year are:

Nominations were made for the other offices of the Chamber and they are:

 

President:

Curt Eddy, Jeff Armstrong

Vice President:

Gary Stepp, Melba Knight, Randy Spence

Secretary:

Peggy Pettus

Treasurer

Gayle Brandt


The above offices remain open for further nominations up until voting the night of the 15th. Any new nominee or person wanting to nominate someone for President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer must be present the night of voting.

 

Chief Pardue addressed the Chamber about the upcoming Christmas parade and asked for our assistance in making the parade a success. This wi II be discussed further on the 15th.

 

The decision was made by members present that the annual due of $40 for an individual/business or association membership would carry one vote per $40 membership.

 

The Chamber web site has been built by Councilman Ed Brasher. The Chamber-minutes in the future will be available for review by members unable to attend the meeting on the web site. The address is: www.odenvillecoc.org.

In the future, letters will only be sent out in the event of a special notification or a matter that needs your attention before a meeting. These matters will also be listed on our web site for you to pull up. PLEASE NOTE: Meetings in the future will be held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall. You will not be notified each time by mail, so please mark your calendars accordingly. 

We have a lot going on, so please come be with us and let your voice be heard for the present and future of Odenville.
